| On 28 August 2010, Jeff was kite-surfing at Somerset Longbay in Bermuda when he lost control of his kite and was involved in an accident. This accident inflicted extensive and severe injuries, including a traumatic brain injury (TBI). Exactly four weeks from this fateful day, Jeff was due to be marrying Stephanie. Now, with Steph and other family by his side, Jeff is calling upon all of his strength as he works towards recovery. |

The Jeffrey Johnston Trust was set up in Bermuda with the help of Jeff’s employer Hiscox and the sole beneficiary of the Trust is Jeff.
The function of the Trust is to channel the funds that are being raised during fundraisers or from donations towards Jeff’s medical expenses. |
